An arch support is an appliance shaped in a manner to provide underside support to the feet. Proper design arch support can eliminate foot or heel pain, or can eliminate pain elsewhere in the body. The arch foot pain in many cases are associated with flat feet can be treated with either proper shoes or insoles which can offer arch support. In extreme cases, surgery may be required.
